Commercial Arbitration and Litigation

Our arbitration and litigation practice focuses on representing and guiding clients through legal proceedings across various forums in an efficient manner. Our dynamic team is well equipped to carry out an in-depth analysis of underlying facts and issues in order to devise and implement effective strategies in a time-sensitive manner.

We represent clients in arbitration proceedings, both domestic and international. We leverage procedural rules to eliminate or reduce the time taken in conducting trials and focus on written advocacy to assist tribunals in expeditiously delivering awards. We regularly collaborate with our allied offices and partner firms across jurisdictions, to combine seamless one-point client interaction and practical insights.

We regularly represent clients in proceedings related to:

Business Transactions and Contracts

We help clients achieve desired business results by providing legal guidance in structuring and drafting business transactions, whether with their consumers, vendors or employees. We support clients during negotiations using an interest-driven approach that allows us to offer innovative and practical solutions to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

We believe in drafting contracts using clear language shorn of legalese, to make them accessible to end-users and improve the rates of compliance while reducing the chances of disputes. Our expertise in dispute resolution also allows us to advise clients on incorporating suitable dispute resolution provisions in contracts, particularly in high-risk contracts.

Corporate and Commercial Advisory

We provide comprehensive legal services required for setting up, sustaining and growing businesses, from drafting incorporation and charter documents for firms and companies to advising on legal compliance and protection of intellectual property. We help clients navigate the complexities of regulatory frameworks and statutory requirements, minimizing risks while ensuring adherence to the law. We endeavour to provide advice which is client specific and solution based, with an impetus towards dispute avoidance. We are equally sensitive to the needs and priorities of legacy businesses as well as start-ups and SMEs.
